Terms & Conditions
Please read these carefully. By enrolling a student or using our programs and website, you agree to the following.
1. Who we are
- The Institute of Life Skills and Enrichment (“Institute,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides educational, enrichment, leadership, technology, wellness, and life-skills programming for students ages 13–17.
- The Institute is not an accredited school and does not provide state-recognized diplomas unless specifically stated.
2. Enrollment
- Enrollment is subject to space availability and acceptance by the Institute.
- We reserve the right to deny or discontinue participation for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, or inappropriate.
3. Parent and guardian responsibilities
- A parent or legal guardian must complete all registration forms and provide accurate emergency and medical contact information.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for timely pickup and student transportation unless otherwise arranged.
4. Fees and payment
- Program fees, deposits, and tuition are due according to the published payment schedule.
- Late payments may result in suspension or cancellation of enrollment.
- Fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
5. Student conduct
- Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
- Bullying, harassment, violence, possession of prohibited items, or repeated disruption may result in immediate dismissal without refund.
6. Assumption of risk
- Certain activities, including fitness, self-defense, physical exercises, workshops, demonstrations, or off-site activities, may involve inherent risks.
- Parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks by enrolling their student.
7. Medical consent
- In the event of an emergency, the Institute may seek appropriate medical assistance for a student if a parent/guardian cannot be reached immediately.
- Parents/guardians remain financially responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
8. Limitation of liability
- The Institute, its owners, instructors, affiliates, and staff shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of facilities.
9. Changes
- The Institute reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, curriculum structure, policies, and these Terms & Conditions at any time as operationally necessary.
10. Governing law
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
